A 16 strong team from TF Solutions and Lawton Tubes joined forces over the weekend to tackle Mount Snowdon and raise a whopping £1.5K for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust, the company’s nominated charity which provides outstanding levels of treatment and support for children battling terminal illness.
The Ice Men were awake at dawn on Saturday 20th of October as they dusted off their climbing boots, packed up their rucksacks and enjoyed a full English breakfast in preparation for their latest charity challenge which involved trekking up the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085 m (3,560 ft.) and covering 8 miles in 4 hours 10 minutes.
Hannah Ward-Salt, marketing manager for the Donna Louise Trust commented: "We’re delighted that TF Solutions has supported us once again this year with their annual challenge - we're always bowled over by the level of commitment they make to the hospice and it's a pleasure to have them on board. It's thanks to support like this that we can continue to support children with life limiting conditions across Staffordshire and Cheshire."
Adam Sanderson, Operations Manager at TF Solutions said of the event: “Despite our aching limbs, we were proud to support the Donna Louise Trust once again with our annual challenge, and thrilled that we have smashed our initial fund target by almost £500. The hospice offers such incredible support for children with life-limiting conditions and much-needed respite for their families and we are delighted to give our support to this fantastic charity.”
